currently seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant

 

The Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting the sales team.  Excellent customer service skills a must!  Individual must be a team player, goal oriented, organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, outstanding telephone skills, flexible and willing to learn.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Represent the company in a dignified, professional manner to life care prospects.
  2. Communicate with prospects to set up luncheon presentations, community tours and events.
  3. Assists in the execution of community Tours and events as directed.
  4. Assists in the planning and implementation of sales luncheons luncheons.
  5. Collects and distributes mail to and from community, corporate and department staff.
  6. Types, proofs and distributes all assigned correspondence as directed.
  7. Schedules, maintains and arranges appointments for prospects.
  8. Attends regional meetings and training sessions, as instructed.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Critical Skills and Knowledge Necessary

  • Communicate effectively with prospective residents and family members.
  • Computer literate with keyboarding skills.
  • Self-starter with good organizational/time management skills.
  • Able to work as a team member with other Lifecare consultants.
  • Good group presentation skills.
  • Good speaking of voice in fluent English.

The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position are normally obtained thru the completion of a high school education, college preferred and minimum of one year experience in Life Care industry or related field.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
  • Sitting frequently.
  • Reaching frequently from below knees to shoulder level.
  • Simple grasping and pushing and pulling occasionally.
  • Fine manipulation frequently.
