Summary Statement:

Provides support to community stakeholders, including residents, employees and managers, in all areas of the company’s shared services department, including hire to retire, procure to pay, Payroll and resident billing.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinates the localized hire to retire, procure to pay, and resident billing processes by compiling, sorting and verifying documents to substantiate business transactions.
• Assists managers with the new hire process, including verification of required pre employment elements, HR new hire paperwork completion and new hire orientation.
• Ensures accuracy of resident census data and employee data.
• Coordinates classified advertising for open positions within the community with Human Resources.
• Maintains employee file compliance for annual TST testing and work injury reporting.
• Serves as the community’s benefits designee for educating employees enrolling in benefits and for answering basic benefit questions.
• Handles resident billing correspondence including billing concerns and participates in the collection of past due accounts.
• Handles bi-weekly Payroll for the Home Health team via Kronos.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Critical Skills and Knowledge Necessary

• Proficiency in standard business computer applications
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills using the English language to effectively communicate with employees and residents per operating policies and confidentiality standards
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize and meet required deadlines
• Work requires ability to analyze and interpret data of a moderately complex nature

The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position are normally obtained thru the completion of a high school education along with a minimum of two years related work experience; or by completing an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, human resources or a related concentration along with 6 months work experience; and by completing six to twelve months of on-the-job training.
