We are currently seeking an experienced Campus Executive Director for one of our beautiful Indian River Estates campus located in Vero Beach, FL.

As a Campus Executive Director, you will be responsible for the overall administration of your retirement community, ensuring above all else that all daily service to residents remains consistent with Acts’ dedication to kindness, compassion, and dignity.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing all departments via formal and informal supervision and communication with department managers
  • Overseeing budgetary/fiscal management of all departments via budget development, variance monitoring, and approval
  • Ensuring consistent compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Serving as liaison between your community and corporate offices
  • Maintaining strong public relations with the greater community
  • Communicating with residents to address their problems and to ensure that their needs are consistently met
  • Managing the purchasing process for the community
  • Serving on corporate committees as requested
  • Participating as a member of community and/or professional associations
  • Ensuring that the appearance and operations of the physical plant are effectively maintained communicator, able to interact in a positive and professional way with everyone from residents and family members to staff and outside vendors. 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience within a retirement community or similar environment in a management position
  • Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license preferred
  • Work experience should show progressively increasing supervisory and budgetary responsibilities with proven verbal and written communication skills along with problem solving capabilities
  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable state, federal and local regulations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment practices and standards
  • Ability to oversee maintenance, construction projects, and capital expenditures
  • Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
