Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Director of Nursing (DON) in our WillowBrooke Court (Skilled Nursing) neighborhood.

The Director of Nursing administers the nursing program in the community to maintain standards of resident care, and advises medical staff, department heads, and executive directors in matters related to nursing services. Directs the planning, implementing and evaluation of the nursing care for all residents on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current or eligible for certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Intravenous Therapy
Minimum of two years experience in the field of geriatric health care and/or management
Basic knowledge of nursing care principles, and of Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities
