Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Finance, the Financial Analyst applies principals of accounting and finance to analyze financial information, prepare internal and external financial reports, and support the sales process.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Prepare annual reports as required by various state regulatory departments.
  2. Process financial screenings to determine client eligibility for a Life Care product.
  3. Maintain monthly occupancy statistics for reporting to senior management and the board of directors.
  4. Prepare monthly and quarterly general ledger accounting entries.
  5. Prepare information requested by various state regulatory departments for compliance audits.
  6. Assist communities with the sales closing process, providing support to sales consultants for questions regarding forms, contracts, and addenda.
  7. Maintain policies and procedures related to job functions.
  8. Monitor scanning process for electronic document storage.
  9. Prepare and remit statistical reports/surveys to external reporting bodies.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The critical skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in this position are normally acquired through the obtainment of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field, and through progressive work experience of at least four years in financial analysis and general ledger accounting.
