Summary Statement:

Under general supervision of the Administrator, coordinates the localized hire to retire and client billing processes by compiling, sorting and verifying documents to substantiate business transactions.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Coordinates the new hire process, including verification of required pre employment elements, completion of HR new hire documentation and new hire orientation.
2. Ensures completion of biweekly payroll for home health personnel.
3. Assists with daily office operations including clerical and phone support as needed.
4. Posts monthly Home Health billing making approved corrections and/or adjustments.
5. Creates monthly financial reports required to verify billing and payroll.
6. Monitors aged accounts and contacts responsible party with goal of reconciliation.
7. Responds to client billing inquiries, including insurance questions.
8. Identifies and communicates issues with billing and payroll systems to IT liasion.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Critical Skills and Knowledge Necessary:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

The critical skills and knowledge required are normally obtained thru the completion of a high school education and a minimum 2 years related work experience. On the job training of 3 months will be required to learn the specific computer programs and company procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Maximum lifting/carrying of ten pounds occasionally
• Frequent sitting
• Frequent reaching at various levels from below knees to shoulder height
• Frequent handling, involving simple grasping, power grasping, pushing and pulling and wrist twisting
• Frequent fine finger manipulation and writing
• Frequent talking and hearing in person and on telephone
• Clear speaking voice/near acuity

•  Exposure to outside weather conditions when necessary

Hours of Operation:
