Acts is currently seeking a qualified candidate for our Volunteer Coordinator position serving in our Hospice Department.

In this position, you will be responsible to recruit, train, supervise and evaluate hospice volunteers in all settings within ACTS. Participate as a member of the Hospice interdisciplinary Team. Coordinate with Hospice Administrator and other interdisciplinary team to insure that volunteer programs are integrated within the hospice operations.

Job Requirements

 The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position are normally obtained thru the completion of a college education and demonstrated experience in volunteer or employee recruitment and training, public relations or related business experience. On the job training will be required to learn the hospice computer software system and organizational policies and procedures.
