Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Physical Therapist Assistant position.

In this role, you will provide treatment services to residents and employees at assigned facilities, and assist the Physical Therapist in treatment and program development. Performs physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been delegated by the Physical Therapist, in accordance with the plan of treatment. As well as support activities which build and maintain a Rehab Center of Excellence.

Job Requirements

The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position include:

  • Completion of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant training program
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for license in the
    state(s) where services are rendered
  • 2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility and/or outpatient rehab environment preferred
  • Experience in adult neurologic, cardiac, orthopedic and/or general rehabilitation preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing therapy services
  • Proficient in application of use of functional outcome measures to support development of therapy interventions
  • Proficient in electronic documentation & reviewing electronic medical records
