Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Regional Clinical Director position for our Chesapeake Region in Eldersburg, Maryland.

This position keeps up to date with ongoing changes in clinical care and practices. Evaluates quality of resident care in all Acts communities in the region, delivered by skilled care center, assisted living, and the wellness suite.  Evaluates and makes recommendations in regard to medical and residential resident records, as required by state, federal, and corporate standards and acts as clinical and administrative resource regarding resident care and clinical-administrative operations.

This role, assists the region’s communities in resident and employee satisfaction, develops, implements, and evaluates Orientation Program for Administrator, Director of Nursing and Director of Assisted Living and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of corporate, regional, and community staff.

Overall this position assures all skilled care centers, assisted living residences, therapy, and nurse practitioner, home health and hospice programs are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Job Requirements

Education Level: Current state Nursing Home Administrator’s license. Completion of a state approved school of nursing, with a minimal of a Bachelor’s Degree, (a Master’s Degree is preferred, but not required), and a current state Registered Nurse license.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ combined experience as an Administrator and a Director of Nursing

Communication and Interpersonal skills - must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment with exceptional customer service, quick evaluation and decision making.  Comprehensive knowledge of principles of administration, nursing care, therapy, hospice and home health
