Summary Statement:  Assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates continuing staff educational programs, Rehabilitation Services care policies and procedures to meet state, federal, and corporate standards.

Job Functions


  • Keeps Rehabilitation Services Policies and Procedures Manual up to date in accordance with state, federal, corporate and Rehabilitation Services practices standards.



  • Keeps up to date with ongoing changes in Rehabilitation Services care and practices.


  • Evaluates quality of resident care in all ACTS communities, delivered by Rehabilitation Services therapists.


  • Evaluates and makes recommendations in regards to documentation of services provided by ACTS Signature Rehabilitation Services, as required by state, federal, and corporate standards.


  • Acts as Rehabilitation Services technical resource in regard to resident care.



  • Implements, and evaluates Orientation Program for Director of Rehabilitation Services and Rehabilitation Services staff.



  • Communicates effectively with all levels of corporate and facility staff.


  • Makes Quality Assurance Inspections to include Rehabilitation Services documentation and processes on a routine basis in each facility.


  • Assures all Willow Brook Court, Oak Bridge Terrace, Home Health and Outpatient programs are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position are normally obtained thru:

      • Education Level: Completion of a state approved school of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology with a Master’s Degree in one of those disciplines, current state license.
      • Years of Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of eight years’ experience
