Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Regional Director of Technology Services - Mid-Atlantic position for our Mid-Atlantic Region communities in PA, MD, NJ & DE.

This position is responsible for working closely with assigned communities as liaison between the communities and the Acts IT department. Maintains a schedule of weekly visits to the assigned communities in support role. Helps to establish and maintain a working IT Plan for the communities.

This role also:

    • Develops individual Community IT Plans.
    • Negotiates and helps oversee operational Community IT initiatives.
    • Support regions resident and employee town halls.
    • Supports IT projects as they affect Community operations.
    • Performs, when necessary, hands on support for users.
    • Coordinates implementation of technology through vendor and relationship support.
    • Provides required education of technology when needed, either directly or through support.
    • Maintains healthy working relationship with all internal customers: Regional VP, Community, Corporate, and Acts IT.
    • Must be willing to travel

Job Requirements

Educational and Critical Skills required:

• The completion of a Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years of working experience in the technology field.
• On the job training of 6 months or more may be required to learn the systems and applications used by our organization.
• Excellent written, verbal and grammatical skills within the English language.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate desktop computer skills.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Ability to respond effectively and intelligently to support calls.
• Good working knowledge of public relations skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
