Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for our vacant Sous Chef position. In this role, you will lead and assist in meal preparation, following the standardized recipes and established food handling, preparation and meal service time schedules and standards.

In the absence of the Chef, the Sous Chef oversees the Culinary operation while ensuring staff performance. Coordinates and supervises all related culinary activity, delegate assignments insuring timely completion of meals and catered events. Assists the Chef in the ordering and receiving of all food supply items while monitoring and maintaining budgetary compliance.




Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:


• Associate degree in Culinary; and/or five years’ experience working in a kitchen

• ServSafe certification preferred

• Two years of supervisory experience or supervisory training
