Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Technical Analyst within our Information Technology (IT) Department.

The Sr. Technical Analyst role can include utilizing multiple disciplines to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, end user device and wireless network services. This is achieved by supporting, planning, and implementing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and servers across the organization. Working knowledge of network, server, and end user device virtualization is also a key component of the Sr. Technical Analyst role. In addition, the Sr. Technical Analyst will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network/server/voice/end user device hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or CIS/MIS
  • Certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, Formal Project Management or equivalent are a plus
  • 4-7 years equivalent work experience
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, routing and switching, firewall, video, VPN technologies and end user devices
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
