Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Therapeutic Assistant in our WillowBrooke Court (Skilled Nursing) neighborhood.

The Therapeutic Assistant provides resident activities mainly in a dementia neighborhood (Special Care Program) by providing direct activities or leading other CNA's in group activities, while also providing resident activities of daily living as needed by the residents - these include toileting, feeding, grooming, and ambulation. If certain staffing levels requires on a given day for additional support then a full CNA assignment will be given to the therapeutic assistant.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Current state certification for Nursing Assistant
Minimum of six months work experience as a CNA within the geriatric health field
Dementia care experience preferred, but not required
